Creating Jobs

MyUniversalSports.com has created a jobs program at the local level in the private sector to put people back to work while the economy recovers.  There are a lot of issues facing our nation right now, but none are more important than creating jobs and reenergizing our economy. It has taken its toll on thousands of middle-class families right here in South Texas.

MyUniversalSports.com knows that we can overcome anything as a nation if we work together and while Washington may have forgotten that, we never will. That’s why we are so excited to announce a brand-new project that will help us come together as a local community to create good jobs.

MyUniversalSports.com is getting ready to provide Sports Jobs to hundreds of unemployed people in the State of Texas.

Veterans

There’s been a huge deal of attention paid to the issue of veterans and unemployment lately. The administration has its proposals to get troops from Iraq and Afghanistan back to work; Congress has its own plans. And yet despite all the high-level attention, and despite news that the national unemployment rate has gone downward, the jobless rate for Iraq and Afghanistan veterans is headed in the wrong direction.

Texas is home to the country's third largest population of veterans, with about 1.8 million, behind California and Florida, according to the Texas Veterans Commission.

MyUniversalSports.com is ready to help by positioning itself in creating Sports Jobs to our veterans in our community and in the state of Texas.

MyUniversalSports.com will train our veterans in the sports industry with the hopes of providing a new beginning back at home. We want our veterans to have an opportunity to pay their rent, utilities, and have enough for food for themselves and their families.

Kids Need Sports

Sports have become very popular in this country, as a result increasing the opportunity for kids to take part in a wider range of athletics at a younger age. The benefits of sports go far beyond the obvious fitness advantages, with social and mental benefits coming into play as well.

MyUniversalSports.com sees the strong need for our kids to continue playing sports year-round. We have many disadvantaged kids in our community that are looking for a different way to live life, stay out of trouble, stay away from drugs and alcohol, have a sense of belonging, and many more reasons why kids are seeking participation in sports. MyUniversalSports.com is here to give our future leaders of tomorrow an endless opportunity through our all out sport's program with the hope of our kids having a positive and brighter future.

Kicks for Kids

MyUniversalSports.com is preparing themselves in giving out "kicks for kids." We will be changing the lives of so many kids in need throughout our community.
